UNIHA designed and built a surface water treatment plant for drinking water production in Asia.

The treatment process comprised the following units:

  • Cascade aeration
  • Coagulation/flocculation
  • Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF)
  • Chlorine contact chamber
  • Flocculation units before sand filters
  • Rapid gravity sand filter
  • Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) filter

This EPC+F project included not only the design & supply of the entire water treatment plant but also civil works, buffer tanks, the intake and several km of piping network.
