UNIHA WTP Water treatment system for the steel industry in the Middle East

UNIHA supplied the complete water and waste treatment system for a steel mill in Middle East. The system comprised:

  • Water softening units by cation exchange resin providing soft water as make-up of cooling systems and feed water to RO plant.
  • Reverse osmosis units, providing DM water for closed cooling systems.
  • Scale and oil removal.
  • Cooling towers.
  • Closed cooling systems with plate heat exchangers.
  • Balance of plant: chemical dosing units, fire fighting system, power distribution and control system, service air and water system.
